Alison Doody
Alison Doody was born in Dublin, Ireland on November 11, in 1966. She is a model as well as an Irish actress. Alison Doody made her feature film debut as an actress and Bond actress with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she appeared as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. She played Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan was in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody began her modeling career after she was approached by a hopeful photographer. Her career has since transformed into commercial modeling. Doody did not like glamour or nude modeling, which she carried over to her acting. In 1985, after being noticed by the casting directors of the James Bond new film, Doody acted in a tiny part in Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody was named as one of the 12 most promising new Actors of 1986 in John Willis Screen World, Volume. 38. Doody aged 18 in the role of Doody in Bond she was still the oldest Bond gal to date. In 1987, Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying in which she played IRA member Siobhan Doovan. Doody was seen as Archibald Craven in his dreams in the 1987 TV adaptation from The Secret Garden. She also played Lilias. The Storyteller episode from 1988 was her first appearance in the main role in Sapsorrow and was portrayed by John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She first appeared in the movie Taffin alongside Pierce Brosnan. Next, she played Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian archaeologist, Nazi-sympathizer, and antagonist to Harrison Ford. Doody appeared alongside Sean Connery in the film in the role of Indy's father. Doody has co-starred alongside Jonathan Pryce, in the British miniseries Selling Hitler. The series was an inspiration for the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Doody then relocated to Hollywood. The decision was made to replace Cybill Shepard in the role of L'Oreal spokesperson and then continued to play opposite Charlie Sheen as Flannery, his agent and girlfriend as Flannery's girlfriend and agent in Major League II. Doody's first appearance on the big screen took place in 2003, when Michael Caine played Doody in a short role. in 2004, Doody starred with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV version to King Solomon's Mines. Also, she appeared as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), an essay on the Holocaust. Doody made an appearance in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. In 2011, she was scheduled to be the main character for The Asphyx remake, but this project did not go ahead. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way. In November of 2018 she was awarded the Almeria award for best film as well as a star on Almeria's Walk of Fame.
